I CELEBRATE DIWALI WITH MY FAMILY
Diwali is a very special festival for me. I celebrate it with my family, and we perform pujas on the different days of the festival.We also conduct a puja at my office. Personally, I’m not a fan of the noise from firecrackers, so I’ve always stayed away from them. However, we light up our home with diyas and decorate it with beautiful flowers.
‘WE CELEBRATED DIWALI IN THE MALDIVES’
One Diwali that stands out is the first one that we celebrated after the COVID-19 lockdown. My family and I spent it in the Maldives. My mom brought along some small idols, and we performed a puja by the ocean. To add to the joy, the chef prepared sheera for our Diwali celebration.
